Spanish: Mussels with Sofrito Sauce

Ingredients:

Procedure:

  1. Add Sofrito sauce and wine to a large pot
  2. Add mussels and mix well
  3. Cover the pot with a lid and cook for 4 minutes
  4. Remove lid to check on mussels, stir and cover again; cook 2 additional minutes
  5. Remove pot from heat, transfer mussels and sauce to serving dishes; discard any unopened mussels
  6. Serve with lots of crusty bread to mop up the rich sauce
